Indiana's Campus Superstar is a talent competition open to all students enrolled in any of the colleges or universities in the state of Indiana. Soloist singers from all backgrounds, representing the full spectrum of musical genres, will compete in several rounds for different prize packages, including a Grand Prize of $5,000!


How the Competition Works
Cattle Call Auditions: Auditions cost $5 but could turn into $5000 if you are the Grand Prize Winner! Show up early and be prepared to sing at least one a cappella selection. You will be notified by 12:00pm the day after the competition of your status if you are moving onto the Semi-Finals, or if you are invited back to Call-Back Auditions. Contestants are more than welcome to try out more than once! Up to 30 contestants will be invited to participate in the Semi-Final Competition in Bloomington. February 12, 2012 Indianapolis Try-outs at Temple Beth-El Zedeck (600 W. 70th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260), 12-5pm
February 19, 2012 Bloomington at the IMU, 12-5pm
February 26, 2012 Bloomington at Hillel (including call-backs), 12-5pm


Semi-Final Competition
Contestants will be invited to sing 90 seconds of a song of their choice and will be required to submit background music at least two weeks prior to the show. Admission is free, so invite your supporters! From the 30 semi-finalists, 10 will be invited to move onto the Final Competition in Indianapolis, one of which will be chosen from the audience! All sponsors are invited to be a part of the VIP section at the Semi-Finals. Email Amy Tilles at amtilles@indiana.edu for more information.

March 25, 2012 at 5:00pm at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater in Bloomington. FREE Admission!


Final Competition Event
10 finalists will be invited to perform, the top five will be selected from a panel of celebrity judges, and the audience will vote the decide on the Grand Prize Winner. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Email Leah at leahaft@indiana.edu for more information!
